What We Know So Far About Prime Video’s ‘Off Campus’ TV Show Adaptation
Prime Video is set to launch a new television adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s acclaimed Off Campus book series, bringing the world of collegiate ice hockey to the small screen. The series will feature a diverse ensemble cast, with each book spotlighting a different couple’s romantic journey. Season 1 is scheduled for release in May, with a second season already in development.
Off Campus parallels the success of Netflix’s Bridgerton by focusing on distinct romantic narratives while maintaining a strong ensemble vibe. The series’ premise centers on the experiences of an elite ice hockey team and their romantic relationships, exploring the complexities of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery during their time at Briar University.
The first season will kick off with the story of Hannah Wells, a reserved songwriter, and Garrett Graham, an all-star hockey player, as they navigate their contrasting personalities. Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli have been cast in these leading roles.
Additional cast members include Josh Heuston, who will portray Justin, Hannah’s romantic rival, and Antonio Cipriano as Logan, a character from the second book, The Mistake. Other key roles are filled by Stephen Kalyn, Jalen Thomas Brooks, and Mika Abdalla.
In November 2025, 18 more cast members were announced for recurring roles. The cast features AJ Abell, Francesca Bianchi, Kai Bradbury, and others, reflecting a commitment to diverse storytelling.
Louisa Levy leads the production as creator and co-showrunner, collaborating with Gina Fattore. The executive production team includes notable names like Wyck Godfrey and Temple Hill’s Marty Bowen.
The show’s early renewal for Season 2 underscores its anticipated popularity, promising to adapt the story of John Logan from the second book, which centers on themes of redemption and romance during sophomore year.
As anticipation builds for the premiere, Off Campus aims to capture the spirit of Kennedy’s novels while engaging a broad audience with its compelling mix of sports and romance.
