Travis Kelce’s Sweet Moment with Taylor Swift at the NFL Honors Afterparty

Taylor Swift was notably absent from the 2026 NFL Honors, attended by her fiancé, Travis Kelce. However, despite her absence, Kelce found a way to include her spirit in the evening’s festivities.
Following the award ceremony on Thursday, February 5, where Kelce was one of 32 nominees for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year award, the New Heights podcaster attended an afterparty hosted by his Tight End University organization. The event featured Loud Luxury as the DJ, and at one point, Kelce joined them behind the booth, turning the spotlight onto one of Swift’s popular tracks.
Video footage captures the football star enjoying himself as he sings and dances to a remix of Swift’s Billboard Hot 100 hit “The Fate of Ophelia.” At one moment, he even showcased his skills with a turntable scratch to the beat. Loud Luxury also shared their own clip of Kelce dancing along to another song on their Instagram Stories.
The celebration took place at Public Works in San Francisco, shortly after the NFL Honors event at the Palace of Fine Arts. Each team in the league had a representative nominated for the Man of the Year award, which was ultimately awarded to Bobby Wagner of the Washington Commanders.
In a TikTok video released by the Chiefs that evening, Kelce congratulated Wagner backstage.
While Kelce celebrated with his NFL peers, Swift was busy preparing for the release of her “Opalite” music video on Spotify and Apple Music. This visual follows the success of “The Fate of Ophelia” and features an ensemble cast including Domhnall Gleeson, Graham Norton, Greta Lee, and Lewis Capaldi, all of whom had recently appeared alongside Swift on The Graham Norton Show.
Reflecting on the video’s concept, Swift shared on Instagram on February 6, “I remember thinking I got ridiculously lucky with the group I was paired with. All people whose work I’ve admired from afar. When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light-hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos. He’s Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment, I was instantly struck with an idea. And so a week later he received an email script I’d written for the Opalite video, where he was playing the starring role.”
