Kate Middleton Shines in Elegant Evergreen Coat with Faux Fur Collar at ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Service
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, showcased a blend of classic and modern style at the “Together At Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey, where she was accompanied by Prince William and their three children.
The royal family appeared coordinated in their winter attire, with William and the children dressed in navy. Middleton stood out in an elegant evergreen-colored wool coat dress by Catherine Walker, complemented by a peek of a traditional tartan skirt from Miu Miu underneath.
Middleton accessorized her outfit with sparkly dangling earrings and added a touch of warmth with a green faux fur lapel designed by Troy London. She chose chic black suede knee-high boots from Ralph Lauren Collection to complete her look.
At the event, Prince George, 12, donned a hunter green tie to match his mother’s outfit, while Louis sported a dark plaid design, showcasing the children’s growth and coordination with their parents’ style.
This year marks a significant moment for the royal family, especially as both King Charles and Princess Catherine have faced health challenges. Middleton announced her cancer was in remission earlier this year. A source mentioned that King Charles, who is 77 and was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024, is prioritizing family time during the festive season.
“Charles prioritizes duty, but he’s also a family man who knows his time is precious,” the source relayed. “He wants a special last Christmas in case it’s his last.”
As the royal family prepares for the holiday season, King Charles plans to attend the annual walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas morning, accompanied by his family. He will also be recording his Christmas speech, which will air later that day.
