Savannah Guthrie’s Husband Shares Thoughts as Search for Her Mom Nancy Continues
Savannah Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman, has provided an update regarding the ongoing search for his mother-in-law, Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona home on February 1. Speaking to Page Six, Feldman stated he doesn’t "have anything new to report."
Feldman expressed feelings of being "mostly unhelpful" but acknowledged the media’s "thoughtfulness" throughout this difficult time.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the evening of January 31, after dining with family. Her daughter, Annie, dropped her off at home, but she did not appear for church the next morning, prompting the family to contact authorities. At a news conference on February 2, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos indicated that Nancy was likely taken from her home against her will.
“She is very limited in her mobility; we know she didn’t just walk out of there,” Nanos said. He noted that additional evidence suggested she did not leave voluntarily. “Right now, we don’t see this as a search mission as much as we do a crime scene,” he added.
Later that day, Savannah Guthrie took to Instagram to urge her followers to join her in prayer, writing, “raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.”
Jenna Bush Hager, a co-host of Today, also shared her thoughts, describing the strong bond she has with Nancy, stating, "she has become a second mom to me and to all of us."
As the search continues, the family remains hopeful for Nancy’s safe return.
