Barry Manilow Shares Exciting News About 6 Upcoming Concerts After Lung Cancer Surgery

Barry Manilow is set to return to the stage following a health setback, announcing six new shows for 2026. The announcement was made on Tuesday, January 13, via the iconic singer’s social media channels. This news follows his recent diagnosis of stage one lung cancer, which he shared with fans just before Christmas.
“Barry is feeling great…so great that he’s decided to add six additional concerts to his existing March schedule,” stated the caption on his Instagram post. A press release confirmed that Manilow’s surgery went well and that his medical team is optimistic about his recovery.
The newly added shows will take place in March at arenas in Charlotte, N.C.; Norfolk, Va.; Baltimore; Cincinnati; Nashville; and Lexington, Ky. These concerts are being promoted as “his final performances in these cities.” Fans can also look forward to new music from Manilow later this year.
Manilow, who released his latest song, “Once Before I Go,” in September, had previously postponed all January performances following his diagnosis. His first show back after surgery is scheduled for February 27 at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Fla., with performances continuing through late April. The final concert in this upcoming series will be on April 29 at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Ga.
In his statement regarding the diagnosis, Manilow revealed that the discovery of the cancerous spot on his left lung came after an MRI was ordered during his recovery from bronchitis. “The doctors do not believe it has spread and I’m taking tests to confirm their diagnosis,” he said. “So, that’s it. No chemo. No radiation. Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns.”
