Zootopia 2: Release Dates for Digital and DVD Are Here!
Disney’s eagerly awaited animated sequel, Zootopia 2, is set to arrive on digital platforms on January 27, and will be available for streaming on services including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. The film will also be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 3.
Zootopia 2 has already made history as the highest-grossing animated Motion Picture Association (MPA) release ever, with a staggering $1.7 billion in global box office receipts, placing it among the top ten highest-grossing films in cinematic history. This marks the fifth title from Walt Disney Animation Studios to cross the $1 billion milestone.
To celebrate the release, Disney will also offer a limited edition 4K SteelBook featuring beloved characters, with particular emphasis on the new character, Gary De’Snake. The packaging will come with bonus features that provide a behind-the-scenes look at Walt Disney Animation Studios, playful moments from the voice recording sessions, and a spotlight on Shakira’s musical contributions. Fans can also enjoy a collection of deleted scenes, promising additional laughter and surprises.
The storyline follows rookie cops Judy Hopps, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman, as they tackle a twisting mystery in Zootopia after the arrival of Gary De’Snake, voiced by Ke Huy Quan. This new adventure challenges their partnership as they go undercover in unfamiliar parts of the city.
