Zoe Saldaña Cuts Her Long Curls into a Fresh Short Ombré Look
- Zoe Saldaña recently shared photos from her visit to Paris.
- In these images, she debuted a new, shorter hairstyle featuring an ombré effect.
- This change follows her previous look, which prominently featured XXL mermaid curls for the New Year celebration.
Zoe Saldaña has revealed a fresh hairstyle for 2026, making waves with a dramatic change that moves away from her signature long locks. The actress, known for her role in Avatar, shared several snapshots from the Louvre art gallery in Paris on Instagram, showcasing her newly styled hair.
Departing from the lengthy curls seen in her earlier posts, Saldaña sported straight hair that cascaded just past her shoulders. The new look featured a subtle ombré effect, highlighted by lighter ends. Complementing this transformation, she donned a casual outfit consisting of light jeans, a navy blazer, a purple button-down shirt, and a pink crossbody bag.
While this is one of Saldaña’s shorter hairstyles in recent memory, it remains notably longer than the micro bob and bangs she showcased at last year’s Met Gala.

In a June appearance on Good Morning America, Saldaña discussed her sons’ reactions to her career while promoting the children’s film Elio. “Since becoming a parent, incorporating what I do—my art—into a genre that caters to children has always been a great interest to me,” she remarked. “And I get to relate to them, and I also get some mad cool points as a mom.”
