Women In Blue Season 2 Premiere Date Announced Alongside Exciting First Look Photo
Apple TV has announced the premiere date for Season 2 of Women in Blue (Las Azules) and released a first look at the upcoming episodes. The Spanish-language crime drama, featuring Bárbara Mori, Natalia Téllez, Amorita Rasgado, and Ximena Sariñana, is set to debut on Wednesday, August 12, with new episodes available weekly until September 30, 2026.
In the second season, Maria (Mori), now a lieutenant, grapples with the laws she has sworn to uphold while being drawn toward the truth. This struggle comes into focus with the discovery of a student activist’s body, leading the Azules into an investigation that connects to the 1968 student massacre.
Before resolving this case, another corpse linked to this dark chapter in history is uncovered, creating turmoil within the department. The Azules emerge as the last hope in a race against time to stop a killer delivering justice directly to the police.
As María, Valentina (Téllez), Gabina (Rasgado), and Ángeles (Sariñana) confront both internal and external battles, buried truths rise, compelling them to address a challenging question: in a system riddled with corruption, what is the cost of upholding their ideals?
The cast also includes Miguel Rodarte, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Christian Tappan, Horacio García Rojas, and Bruno Bichir. Women in Blue (Las Azules) is produced by Lemon Studios for Apple TV, created by Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi, with Rovzar, Wendy Riss (Yellowstone), Alejandro Lozano (Control Z), Erica Sánchez Su (Monarca), and International Emmy Award winner Billy Rovzar serving as executive producers.
