Woman Stabbed on Metro Bus in Downtown Los Angeles
A woman was hospitalized early Saturday morning after being stabbed aboard a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles, according to police reports. The incident occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on a Metro Line 76 bus near the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Grand Avenue.
The assailant, who remains at large, targeted the victim while she was a passenger. Fortunately, she sustained non-critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Details regarding the direction in which the attacker fled have not been disclosed.
Police are searching for a man believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, described as wearing a black hat and a gray sweatshirt. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
