Production has officially begun on the third and likely final season of Max’s acclaimed series Euphoria. With the second season having premiered three years ago, significant changes have occurred regarding the returning cast members.

HBO has announced that the premiere month for Season 3 is set for April 2026.

Yes, production for the third season commenced on February 10, 2025, in Los Angeles, and is scheduled to wrap in November 2025.
Returning Cast
Notable actors returning for Season 3 include Zendaya, who will reprise her role as Rue Bennett, and Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn. Other returning series regulars include Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. Colman Domingo will also return as a guest star. Additionally, Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry have been promoted to series regulars, while Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace will join the cast in regular roles.
Actors from the original cast including Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, and Zak Steine will also be featured.
Departures from the Cast
Barbie Ferreira, known for her role as Katherine “Kat” Hernandez, announced her exit from the show due to creative differences. The series will also mourn the loss of Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, following his tragic death in July 2023. Furthermore, Javon "Wanna" Walton’s character, Ashtray, met his demise in the Season 2 finale.

Season 3 will introduce several new characters, featuring actors such as Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten in guest roles. Additionally, Sharon Stone is set to make an appearance, alongside 18 newly announced actors, including Danielle Deadwyler and Natasha Lyonne.

Creator Sam Levinson returns to direct and produce Season 3, continuing his collaboration with A24. Alongside Levinson, executive producers include Kevin Turen, Drake, and Emmy-winning lead actress Zendaya. The production team also welcomes newcomers such as Colleen Atwood as Co-Producer and Francois Audouy as production designer. Notably, acclaimed composer Hans Zimmer will join Labrinth in scoring the season.
