Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner made a striking appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme on December 8, donning matching orange outfits that sparked significant buzz. Their coordinated color choice has roots in Chalamet’s viral marketing Zoom call from November.
Chalamet, 29, who stars in the upcoming film set for release on Christmas Day, aimed to make the hue synonymous with the movie’s branding. "Orange" was strategically selected during a marketing meeting where Chalamet envisioned the color linking back to the ping pong-centric theme of the film.

Chalamet and Jenner showcased their bold fashion choices on the red carpet, with Chalamet sporting a bright orange leather suit paired with an orange silk shirt and boots. He accessorized with a black leather ping-pong paddle case from Chrome Hearts draped over his shoulder. Jenner, in turn, dazzled in a floor-length orange gown with intricate cutouts and a deep V-neckline, accented with a cross motif echoed in her jewelry and footwear.
Chalamet’s marketing Zoom call, which featured creative ideas surrounding the film’s promotion, had previously raised eyebrows for its unique approach. He described various shades of orange during the meeting, including "hardcore orange" and "rusted orange," intending to create a vibrant association for audiences with Marty Supreme.

To emphasize his point, Chalamet even suggested transforming iconic landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, and the Egyptian Pyramids, into vibrant orange to promote the film’s brand. His imaginative ideas are now starting to materialize, with orange blimps promoting Marty Supreme spotted floating through the skies.
As the premiere approached, the film’s marketing team capitalized on the trend, and orange-branded jackets gained popularity, spotted on celebrities across various domains, including athletes and entertainers like Tom Brady and Kendall Jenner. The buzz surrounding Marty Supreme continues to grow as its release date draws near.
