WeWoreWhat Founder Danielle Bernstein and Fiancé Cooper Weisman End Engagement
Danielle Bernstein, the founder of WeWoreWhat, has announced her split from fiancé Cooper Weisman just seven months after their engagement. In an Instagram Story shared on January 30, Bernstein, 33, noted, “I’ve been quiet about my personal life and wasn’t ready to speak on it until now. We’re stepping away from our relationship with love and respect.”
The fashion influencer emphasized that their decision was not rooted in any dramatic conflict, stating, “There’s no big dramatic reason — sometimes it’s simply not the right forever.” She expressed uncertainty about the future, adding, “This choice took courage,” while requesting privacy for both herself and Weisman as they move forward.
The announcement has taken many followers by surprise, as they had closely followed the couple’s relationship. Bernstein and Weisman began dating in October 2023 after she ended a long-term relationship with Anthony Adler in April of that year. Bernstein and Adler had been together for four years prior to their split.
In June 2025, Bernstein announced Weisman’s proposal, which took place on the roof of their new home in New York. She described the moment as fulfilling a lifelong dream, stating, “I’ve dreamed of this moment my entire life and it was everything and more in the most perfectly imperfect way!!!!”
The couple celebrated their engagement with a party in October 2025, marking their two-year anniversary at a venue that Bernstein described as “raw, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful.” As the year ended, they appeared content and were engaged in final touches on construction for their new NYC home.
Now, following the breakup, Bernstein is reflecting on their shared moments, including a heartfelt farewell to her previous apartment, filled with memories from their time together.
