Welcome to the New Valorian Los Angeles: A Fresh Take from Curio Collection by Hilton
Former Mondrian Los Angeles Unveils New Identity as The Valorian
The iconic hotel once known as Mondrian Los Angeles has officially rebranded as The Valorian Los Angeles, Curio Collection by Hilton. Situated on the famed Sunset Boulevard, the establishment aims to honor its cultural legacy while embarking on a new chapter.
Originally opened in 1996, the Mondrian set a benchmark for luxury and design, attracting trendsetters and travelers alike. Since 2018, the property has undergone extensive renovations to reinforce its status as a modern West Hollywood landmark.
"We are preserving the edge, creativity, and sense of occasion that made this property iconic, while elevating the guest experience through a refined new identity, Hilton’s global platform, and the introduction of White Rabbit Sky Lounge for the next era of West Hollywood,” stated a representative from the Davidson Hospitality Group, which now operates the hotel.
The Valorian will be managed by Pivot, a division of Davidson Hospitality Group. Joining Hilton’s Curio Collection—a portfolio of distinctive hotels designed for unique guest experiences—positions the hotel to attract a wider audience, benefiting from Hilton’s extensive global reach.
A Fresh Perspective
The rebranding as The Valorian reflects a commitment to a contemporary image that resonates with a new generation of guests. The name embodies character and confidence, aligning with the hotel’s goal of offering a vibrant atmosphere.
As it steps into this new era, The Valorian aspires to become a premier social destination, drawing from its recognizable charm.
The hotel features guest rooms and suites boasting stunning views of the Sunset Strip, Hollywood Hills, and the Downtown Los Angeles skyline. It also houses the signature dining experience, Casa Madera, alongside the newly launched rooftop venue, White Rabbit Sky Lounge.
With a dramatic 30-foot entryway and a striking interior design that combines rich colors, textures, and atmospheric lighting, The Valorian offers an immersive experience intended to spark curiosity and exploration.
Elevated Rooftop Experience
Previously known as SkyBar, the new White Rabbit Sky Lounge is positioned to provide guests with breathtaking views of both Downtown L.A. and the Hollywood Hills. The lounge is designed to transition seamlessly from a sunlit hangout to a vibrant nightlife destination.
Throughout the spring, the venue will unveil a curated cocktail list and seasonal events, each aimed at creating the ideal social environment for summer.
Casa Madera continues to play a crucial role in the hotel’s culinary landscape, attracting both guests and locals to its immersive dining experience as part of the venue’s new identity.
As a member of the Curio Collection, The Valorian aims to deliver distinct architecture, impeccable service, and a unique experience that will cement its status as a dynamic player in West Hollywood’s hospitality scene.
