Wagner Entertainment Appoints Ryan Hamilton as Head of Worldwide Sales and Amanda Larney as Head of Development
Wagner Entertainment Expands Leadership Team with Key Hires
Wagner Entertainment is enhancing its team with the appointments of Ryan Hamilton as Head of Worldwide Sales and Amanda Larney as Head of Development. Hamilton, a former executive at Arclight Films, brings a wealth of experience to the role, while Larney transitioned from a creative position at Killer Films.
The company announced that it will manage sales for select in-house projects as well as third-party titles, with expectations to showcase new offerings at the upcoming Cannes market.
Hamilton, who recently produced the survival thriller Zipline, previously spent over a decade at Arclight Films, where he was involved in production, sales, and financing. His portfolio includes notable films such as A24’s First Reformed, Oh, Canada, Dog Eat Dog, and Hotel Mumbai, which starred Dev Patel and Jason Isaacs.
Larney joins Wagner Entertainment after collaborating on the anticipated film Pretty Babies, featuring Madelaine Petsch and Ashley Benson, produced in partnership with Killer Films. In her new role, she will oversee the development process, guiding projects from initial concepts through to production and post-production, while helping to shape the company’s creative identity.
Additionally, Wagner Entertainment recently finalized a three-picture deal with Killer Films. The partnership has already yielded the film Fuck Valentine’s Day, starring Marisa Tomei, and the company remains in post-production on the thriller Lone Wolf, featuring Bryan Cranston. Jordan Wagner, the founder and CEO, has served as executive producer on projects such as Flight Risk and Hypnotic*.
Wagner expressed enthusiasm for the new appointments, stating, “Ryan and I have worked together for years, and I’ve always respected his judgment and market insight. As we continue to grow as a production and finance company, I’m excited about this next chapter and the role Ryan will play in how our projects are partnered and aligned in the marketplace.”
He further praised Larney, noting, “Amanda brings exceptional creative instincts and a strong relational sensibility with talent and agencies. We had such a great experience working together on Pretty Babies, and bringing her onto the team felt like a natural transition, especially with Killer Films continuing as an important creative partner on our slate.”
