- Victoria was present at the November 4 ceremony, hosted by King Charles.
Victoria Beckham, previously recognized as Posh Spice, now holds an official title following her husband David Beckham’s recent knighthood. In early November, David was honored with the title Sir David Beckham, a recognition for his contributions to sports and charity.
On December 15, Victoria, 51, appeared on Watch What Happens Live where host Andy Cohen inquired about her new title. He stated, “Clear this up for me, if you will. David Beckham, your husband — smokeshow — is now a knight, which means he is Sir David Beckham.” Victoria promptly confirmed, “He is.”
Cohen then asked if that elevated her status to “Lady Victoria,” to which she responded, “I am Lady Beckham.” The admission garnered applause from the audience and a surprised reaction from Cohen and fellow guest Kerry Washington.
Cohen playfully suggested she could be called “Lady Posh,” to which she replied, “Listen, whatever you want. Whatever you want. … Anything for you.”
Victoria’s new title was made official on November 4, during her husband’s investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle. The event, hosted by King Charles, celebrated individuals recognized for their significant contributions to society and community.
Victoria stood alongside David, 50, at the ceremony, dressed in an elegant black gown she designed. David sported the first-ever tailored menswear piece from his wife’s fashion line during the occasion.

The honor of knighthood had been a long-anticipated moment for David, who was first nominated for it back in 2011. Victoria expressed her pride on social media shortly after the announcement, stating, “You’ve always been my knight in shining armor, but now it’s official. Sir David Beckham!! What an honor, I couldn’t be prouder of you.”
After the ceremony, Victoria again praised David, recalling, “David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country. No one loves England or respects our Royal Family more. To see you honored by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.”
In her emotional tribute, she highlighted David’s humility and dedication as a partner and parent: “You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago. I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx.”

David, for his part, took the opportunity to publicly thank Victoria and their four children — Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14 — in a heartfelt post after receiving his honor. He wrote, “All I have ever wanted to do is to make my family proud. My beautiful wife who has been by my side for the last 28 years… without her I wouldn’t have had the life I have had.”
In a message to his children, he expressed his love and admiration: “You are our greatest joy in life and my inspiration every single day. This is a proud and inspiring day for you as well.”
