Victoria and David Beckham Show Their Stylish Bond with Matching Birkins in Paris
Beckham Family Shows Solidarity Amid Relationship Drama
In the midst of ongoing family tensions involving their eldest son, Brooklyn, David and Victoria Beckham made a stylish appearance in Paris with their other children, showcasing a united front. The family attended Victoria’s Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres ceremony at the Ministry of Culture, eschewing the ongoing Haute Couture Week activities in favor of this significant event.
Following the ceremony, the couple was seen departing their hotel, each holding matching Hermès Birkin bags. Notably, Victoria’s collection of Birkins is renowned, including the famed "Himalayan Birkin," known as the world’s most expensive handbag.
Victoria Beckham left her hotel in a tailored blue suit paired with a burgundy croc Birkin bag, while David complemented her look with navy pants and a ribbed sweater. He sported the oversized Haut à Courroies bag made of canvas and leather, emphasizing the family’s penchant for high-end fashion. In a display of coordinated style, their son Romeo carried a smaller version of the same backpack.
The family was seen carrying an array of designer items. In addition to David’s double Hermès carry, Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, opted for a Balenciaga purse, while Cruz carried a Victoria Beckham tote. Harper, the youngest of the clan, adorned a vintage Chanel bag, potentially belonging to her mother.
Earlier in the day, Victoria donned a striking black long-sleeved gown of her creation during the ceremony, while Harper wore a similar silhouette, highlighting the family’s fashion-forward mentality. David further complemented the occasion dressed in a charcoal double-breasted suit, with both sons and their girlfriends also present.
During her acceptance speech, Victoria expressed gratitude towards her family, notably noting, "Thank you, my parents, and to my children for always believing in my vision." This gesture underscored the family’s ongoing support for one another amid external pressures.
