V10 Entertainment Takes Charge of Pay 1 and Downstream Sales for Ketchup Movies like ‘Coyote Vs. Acme’
Ketchup Entertainment Partners with V10 Entertainment for Film Distribution
Ketchup Entertainment has announced a new distribution partnership with V10 Entertainment, which will manage the sales of pay-1 and downstream rights to Ketchup’s film library. This collaboration includes highly anticipated titles, notably the upcoming hybrid live-action and animated feature, Coyote vs. Acme.
The film, featuring voice work from John Cena and Will Forte, was initially acquired from Warner Bros in a significant deal. It is set for a theatrical release in August. Another project in Ketchup’s pipeline is the comedy Rolling Loud, starring Owen Wilson and Matt Rife, centered around a hip-hop festival.
Ketchup Entertainment has previously released films such as the Ben Affleck thriller Hypnotic, Jessica Chastain’s drama Memory, and the comic book reboot Hellboy: The Crooked Man.
As part of the agreement, V10 Entertainment will spearhead sales efforts for Ketchup’s entire film library. The company plans to participate in the upcoming LA Screenings in May to secure further distribution deals.
Gareth West, CEO of Ketchup Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We’re excited to partner with V10 to bring our slate to the global market. While much of the indie space has leaned arthouse, we’re focused on star-driven, commercial theatrical films. As studios consolidate around owned IP and franchises, there’s a clear lane for original, talent-led event movies—and V10 is the right partner to maximize that opportunity across every window.”
Carter Skeath, President of V10 Entertainment, mirrored this sentiment, noting, “We are thrilled to partner with Ketchup Entertainment on what is shaping up to be a dynamic theatrical slate. Ketchup has demonstrated a remarkable ability to identify and deliver films with major talent, cultural relevance, and strong theatrical potential. Our team is excited to bring these titles to partners around the world.”
V10’s leadership team includes Skeath, along with Co-Heads of Global Distribution Licensing and Business Development, Samantha Cooper and Josh Vodnoy. The Clarion Capital-backed media group recently expanded its portfolio by acquiring several companies, including Venture 10 Studio Group and Tower House, a firm specializing in digital rights management and production.
