Two Dead at Rob Reiner’s Home
Two individuals, a man aged approximately 78 and a woman believed to be 68, were discovered dead at Rob Reiner’s Los Angeles mansion on December 14. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) confirmed the fatalities but has not yet released the identities of the deceased.
Emergency services were summoned around 3:30 p.m. local time to provide medical assistance. Upon arrival, LAFD personnel found both individuals unresponsive. Neighbors identified the residence as belonging to Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, information corroborated by TMZ and NBC Los Angeles.
Following the discovery, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrived at the scene and has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. As of now, neither the LAPD nor representatives for Reiner have commented publicly.
Rob Reiner is an acclaimed director, producer, and actor, recognized for his influential works, including This Is Spinal Tap (1984) and When Harry Met Sally (1989). He rose to prominence as Mike "Meathead" Stivic on the classic sitcom All in the Family, earning two Emmy Awards for his performance.
In a personal context, Reiner has been married to Michele since 1989, and the couple has three children: sons Jake and Nick, and daughter Romy. He was previously married to the late actress Penny Marshall, who passed away in 2018.
