Taylor Swift, a prominent artist in the music industry, is also being affectionately referred to as Travis Kelce’s wife, despite the couple’s legal status remaining unclear.
In a recent episode of the podcast New Heights, released on April 1, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce engaged in a lively discussion with Jerrod Calhoun, head coach for the University of Cincinnati basketball team, focusing on college sports. During the conversation, Travis expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Man, you’re getting me fired up right now, coach.”
“I think I got like one semester left of eligibility, coach,” he added, recalling his dual participation in football and basketball during his high school years in Ohio.
In response, Calhoun joked, “Hey, we’ll get you a good NIL deal. You gotta ask your wife.”
Travis quickly replied, “Exactly, yeah,” and humorously pretended to call off-camera, jokingly saying, “Sweetie, I’m going back to school!”
Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner and star of Grotesquerie, and Kelce announced their engagement in August. The couple shared intimate photos from the proposal, which featured a beautifully arranged rose garden outside their home. They playfully noted, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Since their engagement, Swift and Kelce have kept wedding details under wraps, leading fans to speculate about whether they have privately wed. Nonetheless, some information has surfaced; Swift has previously indicated plans for a large guest list and mentioned that Ed Sheeran might be keen to perform at their reception.
