Travis Kelce Shares What Keeps His Relationship with Taylor Swift Argument-Free After 2.5 Years

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are enjoying a harmonious relationship, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end confirmed that they have never had a disagreement in their two and a half years together.
On the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, released on Wednesday, Travis reflected on his relationship with the pop star. This discussion followed a comment from guest George Clooney, who noted that he and his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have never clashed during their decade-long marriage. When George inquired about potential quarrels between Travis and Swift, the football player replied, “Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right.”
“I haven’t gotten into an argument,” Travis stated proudly. “Never once.”
Taylor Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner, and the Happy Gilmore 2 star began dating in 2023. This past August, they announced their engagement on Instagram, humorously stating, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
During the podcast, Clooney, who has been married to Amal since 2014 and shares twin children with her, shared his perspective on avoiding conflicts. “Neither of us are gonna win the argument, so why get in?” he explained. “Dude, I’m 64 years old. What am I gonna argue about at this point? I’ve met this incredible woman; she’s beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things that I believe in … So what am I going to fight about?”
Travis responded, “I’m just taking notes this whole time, big guy. You don’t even know.”
The couple is gearing up to celebrate their third Christmas together in 2025, wrapping up the year with significant achievements. Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, released in October, shattered records with the largest opening sales week in modern music history and has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Their podcast episode featuring Swift also secured a spot on Apple’s best podcast episodes of 2025.
“She’s just so magical,” Travis said of Swift when expressing his admiration for her.
