Tragic Fire Claims Lives of Two Young Girls in Murrieta
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. – A devastating fire broke out at a mobile home in Murrieta, resulting in the tragic deaths of two young girls and leaving their mother in critical condition. The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, in the 41000 block of Knight Drive.
According to Murrieta Fire and Rescue, the fire quickly engulfed the mobile home, killing the two girls and leading to serious injuries for their mother, who is reportedly fighting for her life in a hospital. Loved ones have expressed concerns that she may have lost her eyesight due to the severity of her injuries. In addition to the fatalities, the fire also took the lives of multiple family pets.
The flames caused extensive damage, destroying not only the mobile home but also a carport, three vehicles, two outbuildings, and a large pine tree, as confirmed by firefighters.
In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to support the family left grappling with this profound loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
