The incident began just before 8 a.m. when deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the stolen moving truck. The driver failed to pull over, initiating a brief chase that culminated in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Ola Vista and Granada.
One individual in the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while additional occupants were transported to a local hospital. Their current conditions remain undisclosed.
