Tragic Collision on 110 Freeway in Downtown LA Claims Life and Leaves One Injured
Fatal Crash in Downtown Los Angeles Leaves One Dead, Another Injured
One person was killed and another hospitalized following a fiery crash early Sunday morning in downtown Los Angeles. The incident occurred at approximately 1:46 a.m. on the northbound 110 Freeway at 3rd Street, as reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Details surrounding the crash are still under investigation, but preliminary reports indicate that at least one vehicle collided on the freeway, leading to flames erupting from the car.
Footage from the scene captured the vehicle overturned and fully engulfed in flames, as firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the blaze.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the individual who lost their life was pronounced dead at the scene, while the surviving victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
The cause of the crash continues to be investigated.
