Tony Hale, Beverly D’Angelo, and Apple Martin Join Nancy Meyers’ Upcoming Film with Warner Bros.
EXCLUSIVE: Director Nancy Meyers has announced an expanded cast for her upcoming film produced by Warner Bros., adding television and film talent Tony Hale, iconic actress Beverly D’Angelo, and newcomer Apple Martin.
While details regarding character roles and the film’s logline remain undisclosed, the project, formerly titled Paris Paramount, is described as semi-autobiographical. In a 2023 Instagram post, Meyers conveyed the film explores “a group of people making a film and the magic and mystery of what we do.” This marks her first feature since The Intern in 2015.
The previously announced cast also includes notable names such as Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Erin Doherty, Jude Law, and Owen Wilson. Meyers will direct from her own script, collaborating with Ilona Herzberg as producer, and Diana Pokorny and Paula Case as executive producers. The film is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2027.
Tony Hale, a three-time Emmy winner recognized for his roles in Veep and Arrested Development, will reprise his role as Forky in the upcoming Toy Story 5, set for release on June 19. Hale will also feature in Netflix’s romantic comedy Office Romance, alongside Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein, as well as in Neon’s stoner comedy The Wrong Girls. He is represented by UTA and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
Beverly D’Angelo, a Golden Globe and Emmy nominee, is best known for her work in the National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise. She has upcoming releases, including Last Hand and Grace Period, in 2026. D’Angelo is represented by Independent Artist Group.
Apple Martin will make her feature film debut in Meyers’ project. Recently graduating from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Law, History, and Society, she has modeled for major fashion brands like Gap and Chloé and collaborated with designers including Chanel and Self-Portrait. Martin is represented by CAA and Cade Hudson from Hudson Management Group.
