Three Intruders Use a Crowbar to Burglary a Home in Brentwood
Police Investigate Brentwood Home Invasion Involving Residents
Authorities are actively searching for three suspects involved in a home invasion in Brentwood on Monday night, during which residents were present inside the property.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received a report of a burglary in progress at approximately 8:41 p.m. at a residence on Montana Avenue near Bristol Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that three individuals, clad in black, had utilized a crowbar to shatter the glass of the front patio door to gain entry into the home.
According to LAPD, the presence of residents may have prompted the suspects to flee the scene. They reportedly escaped in a white Mercedes sedan.
While police have not released detailed descriptions of the suspects, one individual is described as heavy-set. It remains unclear if any property was stolen during the incident.
