The Strokes Set to Tour the World, with a Performance Scheduled in Pasadena
The Strokes to Perform at Just Like Heaven Festival in Pasadena
The Strokes announced on Monday that they will embark on a world tour, including a highly anticipated performance in Pasadena this August. The band revealed details of their tour shortly after their recent appearance at Coachella, which has generated significant excitement among fans.
Kicking off on June 12, the tour will span North America, the UK, Europe, and Japan, with the Pasadena stop scheduled for August 22 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl. This performance is part of the Just Like Heaven festival, which will also feature acts like LCD Soundsystem, TV Girl, Chromeo, The Rapture, Feist, and others.
Further details regarding the tour and fan registration are available on the band’s official website. Presale tickets will launch on Wednesday, April 15, with general sales beginning on Friday, April 17.
The Strokes will release their seventh studio album, "Reality Awaits," on June 26. Last week, they shared the album’s first single, "Going Shopping," recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin. This marks the band’s first new music release since 2020.
