The Exciting Early Theatrical Release of ‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Finale with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema
The Pitt is set to make its theatrical debut with advance screenings for the Season 2 finale. HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television have partnered with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to host these special events.
The screenings will occur on Monday, April 13, at ten Alamo Drafthouse locations across the country, just three days ahead of the episode’s airing on HBO Max on April 16.
Designed as a tribute to healthcare workers, the events aim to honor their unwavering commitment to their communities.
In recognition of healthcare professionals, both active and retired, THE PITT, along with HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television, will offer a series of free advance screenings for the Season 2 finale. Attendees can reserve their seats with the purchase of a $10 food and beverage voucher. Additionally, all participants will receive special giveaways related to The Pitt.
Screening locations include New York City, NY (Brooklyn); Boston, MA (Seaport); Raleigh, NC (Raleigh); Naples, FL (Naples); Dallas, TX (Cedars); Austin, TX (Mueller); Denver, CO (Westminster); San Francisco, CA (Mountain View); Twin Cities, MN (Woodbury); and Los Angeles, CA (DTLA).
Created by R. Scott Gemmill, The Pitt stars Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, focusing on a group of healthcare workers in a Pittsburgh hospital.

The cast also features Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Mohan, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, and Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi.
The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with Gemmill serving as executive producer alongside Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich.
The series has received critical acclaim, including an early renewal for a third season announced in January. It won five Emmy Awards for its first season, including outstanding drama series and lead actor for Wyle. Additionally, it was named one of the ten best television programs of 2025 by the American Film Institute and secured the award for Best Television Series – Drama at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, among numerous other accolades.
Screenings are free, though a voucher is required to reserve seats. Season 2 of The Pitt streams Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max.
