Teyana Taylor Styles a Sheer Lace Look with Chic Platform Heels and a Long Coat
Teyana Taylor Dazzles at Paris Haute Couture Week
Teyana Taylor made a striking appearance at the Schiaparelli Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Haute Couture Week on January 26, showcasing a sheer black lace dress that highlighted the trending "naked dress" style. Posing gracefully on the steps of the Petit Palais, her ensemble drew significant attention.
In addition to the intricate lace dress, Taylor paired the look with a long black coat, towering platform heels, and a bow-shaped statement necklace. The highlight of her outfit was a diamond-encrusted tiara adorned with large pearls. This eye-catching accessory drew inspiration from the notorious Louvre heist, as noted by Schiaparelli’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry.
Reflecting on the tiara’s concept, Roseberry shared, “I was going home for a walk from the office, it was right after the jewels had been stolen from the Louvre. And I was like, Wouldn’t it be nice to reimagine the Louvre jewels that were stolen?”
Taylor’s appearance coincides with her recent recognition as a contender for an Academy Award for her performance in One Battle After Another. The film recently earned her the accolade of Best Supporting Actress at the 2026 Golden Globes. For this prestigious occasion, Taylor enlisted Schiaparelli’s artistry once more, donning a custom gown featuring a distinctive diamond-encrusted thong.
During her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, the actress emphasized the importance of representation, stating, “To my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight, our softness is not a liability. Our voices matter, and our dreams deserve space.”
As she continues to gain acclaim, Teyana Taylor remains a prominent figure in both the fashion and film industries.
