Tesla Crash Lands in Pacoima Home, Two Hospitalized

In the early hours of Friday morning, a Tesla vehicle came crashing into a home in Pacoima after careening off the 5 Freeway.

The car impacted the living room, where a man was asleep on the couch. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department’s urban search and rescue team were dispatched to the scene to assist.

Both the resident and the driver were taken to the hospital, although details regarding the severity of their injuries have not been disclosed.

Following the incident, the damaged vehicle was extracted from the house and towed away. One wall of the heavily impacted residence has been boarded up as a precaution.
