Ted Lasso Season 4 Premiere Date Announced: First Look at Ted’s Son and New Assistant Coach for the Richmond Women’s Team
Apple TV Announces Summer 2026 Release for Ted Lasso Season 4
Apple TV has officially announced that the highly anticipated fourth season of its acclaimed series Ted Lasso will premiere globally in the summer of 2026. Alongside this announcement, the streaming platform unveiled four first-look images featuring the Emmy-winning comedy, which stars and is executive produced by Jason Sudeikis.
The newly released photos showcase Ted (played by Sudeikis) as he returns to Richmond, where he faces a significant new challenge: coaching a second-division women’s football team. In two of the images, Ted is seen with his new assistant coach, portrayed by Tanya Reynolds, alongside the returning Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt.
A notable addition to the cast this season is Grant Feely, who is introduced as Ted’s son Henry after the role was recast. In one of the images, Ted and Henry are depicted at Mae Green’s Crown & Anchor pub in London.
Another image shows Ted interacting with Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) in front of the Richmond jet, presumably as she heads to Kansas to recruit him for the coaching position. In this scene, Ted is seen offering Rebecca a box of his renowned homemade biscuits.
Currently in production in London, Ted Lasso Season 4 reunites several original cast members, including Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. The new season also welcomes several new faces, including Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Feely.
In addition to Sudeikis, who stars and produces, executive producers for this season include Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel, with Jack Burditt joining the team under an overall deal with Apple TV. Writers Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh contribute to the season, while Bill Lawrence serves as executive producer through his Doozer Productions, partnering with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
As excitement builds for the upcoming season, fans are eager to see how Ted tackles the new challenges ahead.
