On December 7, pop icons Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez attended a Kansas City Chiefs game together, marking their first-ever joint outing to support Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce. The game, held at Arrowhead Stadium, saw the two friends enjoying each other’s company from a VIP box.
Swift sported a striking black-and-white striped jacket, while Gomez opted for an elegant all-black ensemble. The duo was photographed engaging in conversation, and images capturing their day quickly circulated online following the game’s kickoff.
Photos shared by fans showcased Swift in a Wool Bomber Jacket from Miu Miu, paired with loose hair, while Gomez wore a trendy bun along with a black top featuring feather trim. The friendly atmosphere at the game highlighted the longstanding bond between the two stars, who have maintained a close friendship over the years.
Their friendship dates back 16 years, with Gomez recalling how it blossomed during a time when both dated members of the Jonas Brothers—Joe and Nick Jonas, respectively. In a recent podcast, Gomez shared, “She and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other because it was really sweet.”
In previous weeks, Swift has also been seen supporting Kelce at his games, including an appearance on November 23, where she wore a golf-inspired sweater designed by her friend Gigi Hadid. Following the game, she was later pictured dining with Kelce and friends in Kansas City.
While this was the first occasion Gomez attended a game alongside Swift, the two continue to celebrate important milestones together. Recently, Swift attended Gomez’s wedding, donning a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown and giving a heartfelt speech for her longtime friend.
Gomez expressed her gratitude for their enduring friendship through a social media tribute, reflecting, "blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always." Their connection remains a source of joy for both stars as they continue to support one another in their personal and professional lives.
