Tate McRae Graces Rolling Stone in a Vintage Bikini that Tells a Story
Tate McRae is heating up the January 2026 issue of Rolling Stone, showcasing a vintage Moschino bikini that evokes early 2000s pop culture.
The cover features the “Greedy” singer in a white string bikini adorned with red hearts, mirroring a style reminiscent of the pop princess era. Inside the magazine, McRae reveals a blend of elegance and her distinctive performance persona, Tatiana.

The pop star also dons a Poster Girl chérie blossom slip dress inside a vintage red car.

Reflecting on her journey to fame, McRae first captivated audiences in 2016 when she finished third on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation. Subsequently, in 2017, she gained traction through a viral YouTube hit, “One Day.” The singer later signed with RCA Records in 2019 and launched her debut EP, All The Things I Never Said, in 2020.

The cover shoot features McRae in an array of stylish outfits, including vintage Chanel pieces from the 1990s.
With fans often likening her to Britney Spears, McRae addresses the speculation around a potential biopic: “I need to take an acting lesson before I’d even consider ever doing anything,” she stated. “And also, I feel like I look nothing like her or sound nothing like her, so I don’t know if I’d be a great fit.”

McRae’s ambitious spirit is palpable, as she embraces her role as a performing artist while remaining grounded. Frequent collaborator Amy Allen commended her versatile talents: “Tate is the most obvious triple threat I’ve ever seen, in terms of songwriting, vocals, and dancing. I feel like she’s a god in real life,” Allen noted.
As McRae looks to the future, she expressed the intensity of her journey: “I feel I’ve aged 10 years in the past year.” Nonetheless, she remains hopeful, confident in her ability to navigate the challenges ahead and continue evolving as an artist.
