Supacell Star Ghetts Won’t Return for Season 2 of Netflix Series Following Car Crash Incident
British rapper and actor Ghetts will not return for the second season of the Netflix series Supacell, following his admission of guilt in a recent court case related to a fatal hit-and-run incident.
In a hearing at the Old Bailey on Monday, Ghetts, 41, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving while appearing via video link from Pentonville prison.
According to the Metropolitan Police, Ghetts was driving at over double the 30 mph speed limit when he struck 20-year-old Yubin Tamang as he was crossing the road on October 18. After the incident, Ghetts fled the scene but was arrested at his home approximately four hours later. Tamang succumbed to his injuries two days after the crash. Sentencing is set for February 12.
