Steven Yeun Joins CAA Team
EXCLUSIVE: Oscar-nominated actor and producer Steven Yeun has signed with CAA for representation.
Yeun, widely recognized for his portrayal of Glenn Rhee on AMC’s The Walking Dead, recently appeared in Netflix’s action thriller The Rip, as well as Bong Joon Ho’s sci-fi film Mickey 17 and the Sundance feature Love Me. He is also an executive producer on Season 2 of A24/Netflix series Beef. Under their first-look television deal with Netflix, Yeun and his producing partner Christina Oh’s Celadon Pictures have two projects in development and played key roles in executive producing Beef, which launched its second installment on April 16.
In Season 1 of Beef, Yeun starred alongside Ali Wong and received multiple accolades for his performance as Danny Cho, including an Emmy, Golden Globe, Critics Choice, and SAG award. Both he and the series garnered recognition at these award shows, in addition to winning the Independent Spirit Award for Best New Scripted Series and the David L. Wolper Award for Outstanding Producer of a Limited Series at the Producers Guild Awards.

Yeun earned an Academy Award nomination for Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Lee Isaac Chung’s Oscar-nominated film Minari for A24, on which he was also an executive producer. His portrayal of Jacob earned him nominations for a Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics Choice Award, and Independent Spirit Award.
Looking ahead, Yeun will star in Netflix’s Animals alongside Kerry Washington and Ben Affleck, who also directs the film. He will voice Zuko in the highly anticipated animated feature The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, set to be released on October 9.
Yeun’s filmography also includes notable works such as Jordan Peele’s Nope, Chang-Dong Lee’s Burning, which earned him the National Society of Film Critics Award and the Los Angeles Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor; Stephen Karam’s A24 drama The Humans; Boots Riley’s comedy Sorry To Bother You; Joe Lynch’s Mayhem; and Mike Cahill’s indie sci-fi drama I Origins.
Additionally, Yeun served as an executive producer for the documentary Nam June Paik: Moon Is The Oldest TV, and has lent his voice to various animated projects, including reprising his role in Amazon’s Invincible, DreamWorks’ The Star, Netflix’s Tuca & Bertie, as well as Voltron, Stretch Armstrong, Guillermo del Toro’s Trollhunters, and its spinoff 3 Below.
