Stephen and Katie Miller Expect Fourth Child
Stephen Miller, a prominent figure in the Trump administration and his wife, Katie Miller, announced they are expecting their fourth child together. The couple shared the news through an Instagram post featuring Katie cradling her baby bump at a New Year’s Eve celebration held at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. The photo is captioned, "Happy New Year!"
Stephen, 40, and Katie, 34, who married in February 2020, already have a 5-year-old daughter, Mackenzie, a 3-year-old son, Jackson, and a 2-year-old son, Hudson.

The announcement comes on the heels of a recent discussion regarding Stephen’s parenting abilities, sparked by comments made during an episode of The Katie Miller Podcast. In this episode, Katie hosted Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and his wife, Jen. When asked which Trump advisors they would trust to care for their children, Hegseth humorously excluded Stephen from consideration, mentioning him and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Despite the light-hearted banter, Hegseth acknowledged Stephen as the staffer most likely to reach out during urgent situations, a sentiment Katie endorsed wholeheartedly.
Stephen Miller is known for his polarizing role within the Trump administration and the MAGA movement. He has been criticized for espousing controversial views, including those considered white nationalist. During Trump’s first term, he was instrumental in implementing family separation policies as part of immigration enforcement.
In his role as deputy chief of staff for policy in Trump’s second administration, Miller has continued to advocate for strict immigration measures, including mass deportation. Notably, in May 2025, reports indicated he threatened to dismiss ICE officials who failed to meet aggressive detainment targets.
Miller has also publicly advocated for the exclusion of critical race theory and what he terms "communist ideology" from American educational institutions. He emphasized the importance of national pride in U.S. education during a May 2025 briefing, stating that children should be taught to love their country and its civic values. “For any nation to be successful, it cannot teach its children to hate themselves and their country,” he asserted.
His statements on education reflect a broader stance of the Trump administration’s approach to cultural and ideological issues, positioning them in direct opposition to what he characterizes as a “woke culture.”
