Stagecoach Holds Emergency Evacuation Amid Severe Weather Conditions
Severe weather led to an emergency evacuation at the Stagecoach country music festival on Saturday night.
A message displayed on the stage screen announced, “The festival has been postponed until further notice. Please move quickly and calmly to the nearest exit.”
Festivalgoers received additional notifications via the Stagecoach app, urging them to exit the venue and relocate their vehicles. Video footage from attendees captured the chaotic scene as crowds attempted to leave.
By 9 p.m., festival organizers issued an update stating that “the show will resume momentarily,” indicating preparations were underway to reopen the event.
The annual festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as further information is available.
