Simon Cowell has shared insights into his unconventional health regimen, which includes frequent visits to a wellness clinic where blood is reportedly “rinsed” and “filtered.”
“I go to this place, this wellness clinic, where they actually take your blood, they rinse it, they filter it, and then they put it back into your body,” Cowell, 66, told *The Sun*. “You do all these tests, and they tell you your age, so I’ve actually aged backwards by eating better, more exercise, less stress, and certain supplements. My brain is still there; I still have the energy.”
Although Cowell did not detail the specific procedures he underwent, the method known as apheresis has gained popularity among celebrities in recent months. Notably, actor Orlando Bloom recently disclosed that he underwent a blood “cleaning” treatment to eliminate microplastics from his body.
According to *The Times*, however, there are “no meaningful studies” verifying the effectiveness of such procedures.
Cowell also disclosed that he once considered cryogenic preservation but changed his mind after learning that it might involve severing his head for revival centuries later. “I found out they chop your head off, so you come back in 2,000 years as a floating head,” he remarked.
In a previous interview in 2022, Cowell discussed his extensive use of plastic surgery, revealing that he had received so much filler and Botox that he no longer recognized himself. “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far,” he stated. “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognize it as me.”
He reflected on feeling as if he resembled “something out of a horror film,” which disturbed his 8-year-old son, Eric. “Eric was in hysterics,” Cowell shared, explaining that this reaction prompted him to cease all cosmetic injectables. “Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”
The music mogul, renowned for creating acts like One Direction and Fifth Harmony, is gearing up for his next talent search in *Simon Cowell: The Next Act*, focusing on discovering the next major boy band since One Direction’s disbandment. This highly anticipated series will debut on Netflix on December 10.
