Dog Shot in Neck During Altercation at Hollywood Restaurant
A dog was shot in the neck by the owner of another dog following an apparent altercation on Saturday at an El Pollo Loco in Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Vine Street and Fountain Avenue.
According to police reports, a customer was paying at the counter when her dog escaped and attacked a dog that had just entered the restaurant with its owner. In response, the owner of the second dog drew a firearm and shot, grazing the first dog in the neck.
Fortunately, the injury was not life-threatening. Following the shooting, the shooter fled the scene.
