Public’s Help Requested in Search for Missing 7-Year-Old in Santa Monica

Authorities in Santa Monica are urgently seeking assistance to locate a 7-year-old boy believed to be at risk. King Darius Lozada was last seen with his father, Darius Clay Jackson, in an alley near Arizona Avenue and Berkeley Street on Tuesday at approximately 6:50 p.m., according to the Santa Monica Police Department.

The police are particularly concerned for Jackson, 55, who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

King Darius Lozada is described as 4 feet tall and weighing 85 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and light blue sweatpants. His father, Darius Clay Jackson, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. He was last seen in a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of King or Jackson is urged to call 911.
