School Spirits Returns for Season 4 on Paramount+

In an exciting development, School Spirits has officially been renewed for a fourth season following a tense climax in its Season 3 finale. Paramount+ announced the renewal on Tuesday, much to the delight of its dedicated fanbase.
The third season concluded with a significant plot twist that sets the stage for the upcoming season. Protagonist Maddie, played by Peyton List, alongside her friends, successfully thwarted an attempt to destroy Split River High. However, their victory is overshadowed by the villainous Van Heidt’s possession of Maddie’s mother, Sandra, leaving Maddie to navigate a perilous new reality.
According to the official logline, School Spirits follows Maddie, a teenage girl trapped in the afterlife as she investigates her own mysterious disappearance. As she adapts to this high school purgatory, Maddie embarks on a crime-solving journey that reveals a web of secrets and lies.
In addition to List, the series features an ensemble cast, including Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole Herrera, and several others.
Season 3 concluded with a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, signaling strong critical acclaim. The first three seasons are currently available for streaming on Paramount+ across multiple regions, including the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, Latin America, and Brazil.
School Spirits was co-created by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud, who both serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Oliver Goldstick, known for his work on Pretty Little Liars and Bridgerton, will return as a consultant for Season 4. List also holds the role of executive producer on the series, which is produced by Paramount Television Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
