Samara Weaving has announced that she is expecting her first child. The actress, best known for her role in Ready or Not 2, shared the news with fans via Instagram on Tuesday, December 16. In her post, Weaving included a series of photographs that showcased her growing baby bump, including an image of her in a stylish mesh lace shirt.
In another photo, Weaving is seen preparing for the day with her hair styled and eye masks on, wearing an open bathrobe that revealed her baby bump. She playfully captioned the post, “Ready or Not: Here I Come đ.”
Earlier this year, Weaving and Warden spoke to the press about their creative collaboration on the film Borderline, which marked Warden’s directorial debut. In their interview, Weaving revealed that they strive to maintain their bond during work commitments, saying, “When I’m away or if Jimmy’s away shooting, we try not to go two and a half or three weeks [without seeing each other].”
Warden noted that longer separations can lead to awkwardness, with Weaving adding that they rely on humor to keep their connection strong, sharing jokes through voice notes.
Notably, despite their marriage in 2020, the couple did not hold a wedding ceremony due to pandemic restrictions. Weaving mentioned in the same interview, “We got married but then COVID hit, so we had to cancel the wedding,” humorously noting they opted to invest in a home pool instead. Warden added that their creative pursuits, including the film, could essentially serve as a wedding of sorts.
