Sailor Brinkley Cook Channels Her Mother in Iconic Photoshoot

Sailor Brinkley Cook recently paid tribute to her mother, supermodel Christie Brinkley, by recreating one of her most iconic photoshoots. In a striking blue string bikini, the 27-year-old showcased a remarkable resemblance to her mother, who famously graced the cover of Cosmopolitan in a similar suit in 1977.

The young model shared her latest bikini photos on Instagram, where she demonstrated her versatility by posing in a variety of swimsuits, including a bright green and a red string bikini. Just three days later, she posted additional photos featuring a fourth swimsuit, captioning the series, "Mentally still here 🌺💭."

Since signing with IMG Models at the age of 15, Sailor has consistently followed in her mother’s footsteps within the fashion industry. Christie has shared invaluable guidance with her daughter, emphasizing the importance of humility. "Her biggest advice when it comes to being on a set would be just to be as gracious as you can," Sailor shared in an interview. "I always try and introduce myself to everyone in the room. And I always try and acknowledge everyone in the room. Because I mean, my job is almost pretty much the easiest."

Brinkley shares Sailor with her ex-husband, Peter Cook. In addition to Sailor, she is the mother of 30-year-old Jack Paris Brinkley Cook and 40-year-old Alexa Ray Joel, whom she welcomed with her ex-husbands Richard Taubman and Billy Joel, respectively.

Reflecting on motherhood, Brinkley has remarked, "You learn so much from each child, just getting an opportunity to see the world through their eyes. I have three real individuals. They all find magic in different places, and I feel so fortunate to be able to experience that."
