Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled a sneak peek of her highly anticipated music video for the Billboard Hot 100 hit “House Tour,” taken from her album Man’s Best Friend, which recently topped the Billboard 200. The singer revealed that the full video will premiere on Monday.
In an Instagram clip, Carpenter is seen driving a pink van alongside actresses Margaret Qualley and Madelyn Cline. While their destination remains unclear, the footage suggests that the trio might be involved in some mischief. A voice on the radio ominously advises listeners to secure their doors.
“It’s a not-so-pretty evening on Pretty Girl Avenue,” the radio announcer states. “Reports of robbery and theft are sweeping the neighborhood.”
The announcer goes on to describe the suspects as “three young women in minimal clothes” who are “armed and dangerous.”
As the warning concludes, Carpenter and her companions arrive at their destination. Cline then poses a pivotal question: “Should we go in the backdoor?” To which Qualley and Carpenter promptly respond, “No.” This playful exchange is a nod to the song’s chorus, “I just want you to come inside/ But never enter through the backdoor.”
Despite the teaser being released on April Fool’s Day, Carpenter reassured her fans that this is no joke, stating in her Instagram caption, “No joke…house tour video this Monday.”
The music video is set to debut just ahead of Carpenter’s first headlining performance at Coachella, scheduled for Friday, April 10. Below is the full teaser for “House Tour.”
