Police Seek Help Identifying Juvenile Victim in Downtown Assault
The Riverside Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a juvenile victim and finding additional witnesses linked to a reported assault that took place on April 25 near Market Street and Sixth Street, adjacent to the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa.
Officers responded to the scene around 3:13 p.m. on the day of the incident. Upon arrival, both the alleged victim and the suspect had already left, and police were unable to gather immediate identifying information.
Investigators later acquired surveillance footage from a nearby business, leading to the identification of the suspect as an adult male seen in the area during the time of the alleged assault.
Authorities believe that other witnesses may have been present during the incident. Currently, the identity of the juvenile victim remains unknown.
