Rebecca Black Brings Tokyo Vibes to Her DJ Set at the –196 Vodka Seltzer Pop-Up Event
Rebecca Black played a pivotal role in transforming a New York City gallery into an immersive experience that drew inspiration from Tokyo culture.
On the evening of March 26, the event titled **Konbini Backroom** featured Black performing a DJ set, embodying the theme of finding excitement in familiar settings. Upon entering, guests were greeted by a konbini, the Japanese term for convenience store, complete with iconic Japanese snacks and a selection of –196 Vodka Seltzer flavors such as Lemon, Strawberry, Peach, and Grapefruit. The experience was further enhanced by a speakeasy-style transition leading into a lively dance party, accompanied by music from the artist.
During her hour-long set, Black showcased her hit “Sugar Water Cyanide” and mixed in popular tracks from artists like Jennifer Lopez and Fergie.
