Rams and Seahawks Battle for a Chance at the Super Bowl
SEATTLE (KTTV) – The Los Angeles Rams are making strides toward their first Super Bowl appearance since the 2021 season, currently leading the Seattle Seahawks 13-10 in the NFC Championship game as the second quarter unfolds.
The Seahawks struck first with running back Kenneth Walker III’s 2-yard touchdown run, quickly putting them ahead 7-0 after a successful extra point. The Rams, however, responded with determination, narrowing the score with two field goals, bringing the game to a 10-6 deficit.
In a decisive series, Los Angeles took the lead with a 14-play, 87-yard drive, capped off by a 9-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Kyren Williams, pushing the score to 13-10.
Seattle is set to receive the ball first at the start of the second half.
The Rams earned their place in the NFC Championship by narrowly defeating the Chicago Bears 20-17 in the divisional round, following their wild-card victory against the Carolina Panthers, where they triumphed 34-31. Meanwhile, the Seahawks claimed home-field advantage and a first-round playoff bye, finishing the 2025 regular season with a 14-3 record. They advanced to the NFC Championship after a convincing 41-6 win over the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.
The winner of today’s matchup will face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, who secured their spot after a tight 10-7 victory over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship.
