At the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Monday, co-star Rachel Bloom graced the red carpet with her husband, Dan Gregor, while also sharing insights about their upcoming ABC pilot, Do You Want Kids?.
The single-camera comedy pilot, produced by 20th Television, centers on a husband and wife (played by Bloom and Rory Scovel) navigating the complexities of parenthood across alternate realities—one where they have a child and another where they do not. The project has been completed and submitted to the network.

Gregor described the writing partnership as “like marriage condensed into a little bit of work.”
Bloom added, “If you want to make a marriage a dimension more difficult, write together. But also, we have been writing comedy for so long, this was just by far the most personal we have done together.”
To navigate their collaborative process, the couple established clear boundaries. Notably, Gregor insisted, “No notes in bed.”
