Crave has officially renewed Project Runway Canada for a second season as casting for the reality competition has begun.
Produced by Bell Media and hosted by Coco Rocha, the series will again feature judges Jeanne Beker and Spencer Badu, with Aurora James returning as a mentor.
Filming for Season 2 is scheduled to commence this summer in Toronto, with the new episodes set to premiere on Crave later this year.
Project Runway Canada follows the Fremantle format created by Eli Holzman in 2004 and owned by Spyglass Media Group. The competition was initially adapted for Canadian audiences in 2007, running for two seasons before concluding in 2009.

Competitors will have the opportunity to showcase their creative talents for the title of Canada’s “Next Great Designer” and vie for a career-launching investment of $100,000.
Notable guest judges in recent seasons of Project Runway Canada have included renowned fashion figures such as Christian Siriano, an award-winning CFDA designer and Project Runway USA Season 4 winner, alongside makeup artist Patrick Ta, designer Jason Wu, model and TV personality Lauren Chan, and avant-garde beauty creator Mei Pang.
