Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Still Creating TV Shows and Documentaries with Netflix: What to Expect
Netflix is working to clarify its ongoing collaboration with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid growing scrutiny. Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria confirmed at the Next on Netflix press event that the couple is involved in several projects across television, film, and documentary genres.
This statement comes as reports emerge about the couple’s transition into Hollywood over recent years. Notably, Netflix has recently withdrawn as an investor in Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, and there are currently no plans for a third season of the series With Love, Meghan.
“We still have a relationship with them. We have movies in development with them. We have an amazing doc with them. They have things in development on the TV and film side. Deals come and go all the time, and we don’t renew so many deals; those just don’t get as much press for obvious reasons. There’s no juicy story there,” Bajaria stated.
Bajaria’s remarks reflect comments she made back in February 2024. Last year, Netflix downgraded the couple’s original deal from an overarching agreement to a first-look arrangement.
While the docuseries Harry & Meghan found success, other projects such as Live To Live, Heart of Invictus, and Polo failed to gain substantial traction. Similarly, With Love, Meghan struggled to attract viewers during its second season, which premiered on August 26. Over the last four months of 2025, the series garnered only 2 million views, making it the 1,217th most-watched title on Netflix. In comparison, the special With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration achieved slightly better ratings, ranking 1,015 with 2.4 million views.
