Pothole Damage Prompts Traffic Alert in Arcadia
A significant pothole on an Arcadia freeway on-ramp has caused damage to multiple vehicles, leading to a traffic alert from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
According to CHP, the pothole was located on the on-ramp from Foothill Boulevard and Baldwin Avenue to the westbound Interstate 210. Several vehicles experienced flat tires after hitting the pothole, necessitating the involvement of tow trucks to assist stranded motorists.
A SIG Alert was issued, warning travelers of the hazardous conditions for at least 30 minutes. In response to the incident, Caltrans is currently on-site addressing the issue by repairing and filling the pothole.
